Bella's Hair Do

Thanks for all the good wishes! I'm feeling better today. Back to our original plan of making SOAN support our family.

I've been trying to figure out what to do with Bella's hair. She looks like a boy if she doesn't have a bow in, and she will leave a bow in for about two minutes. I tried yesterday to fix it. It looked cute (with a bow still) for about two minutes. I'm going to try tomorrow without the bow and see what it looks like, or else I need to find some kind of clip bow that will actually stay in.

Seriously, just glue one in...

I agree with Stephanie. Elmer's Glue works great. I'll make some cute little ones that we can just glue in. She'll look like a girl ALL the time. =o)

Glueing them in at that stage is probably your best bet. I did read somewhere though that you can put a line of hot glue on the inside of an alligator clip and that holds pretty good. I have never tried it though because when Abigale and Maxwell were that age I never went anywhere! You could try putting her in REALLY girly clothes. I am sure she would love that :) Good Luck!

First off, she doesn't look like a boy!

I vote for just dressing her in really girly clothes. Have you tried to clip it in vs the headband? I know that when Georgia started to veto the headband, she would forget that a little hairclippy was in, so I moved onto clippies then.

I don't know if the bow would work w/the glue w/as much hair as bella has since you'd be trying to glue it the hair instead of the head (like w/most glued-on newborn bows)...then again, I've never tried it myself *shrug*

She's such a little cutie! Really, don't all little girl about that age look like little boys w/o bows in their hair?? If you do try Elmer's Glue, water dissolves the glue (so when you try to take it off it won't pull her hair). Good luck! ;)

I think she's adorable! I just am jealous you even get to put bows on! I just smiled at how cute she looks, sorry I don't have any advice to add...

She is beautiful...and doesn't look like a boy! But I hear you in the fact that finding cute hairstyles are almost impossible with too little of hair. I can't wait until Abby has more hair!!

That is too funny - I have the same exact problem with Brianna. Even though I hate when people call her a little boy I just gave up - I just wish her hair would grow so I could at least put it in a clip. Oh well - here's to our cute little "guys". (he,he,he)c
