They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Oh no...is Bandit gone? I'm so sorry Holly...I don't even like dogs, and I cried reading your post and looking at the sweet picture with Bella. I'm so sorry...
so sorry to hear that! i am sure it would be hard...he has been family for a long time.
I'm so sorry, sweetie! Huge, huge (((hugs)))!
I'm so sorry Holly. I teach gospel doctrine in my ward and just a few weeks ago we were talking about animals and how they too will be resurrected and we'll get to see our pets again. (although, I never want to see my rooster again!) ;) This sweet little 8 year old girl got up to bear her testimony and talked about her dog that died and how she knew that her dog was now up in heaven playing with her brothers (she had twin brothers die). She was so sure that her brothers needed a pet in heaven and that's why her dog had to leave her. It was pretty sweet. Bandit just might be needed somewhere else for a while. :)
I'm glad you've got pictures of Bandit with your sweet little Bella. She will love those someday.
I'm so sorry! glad you have good cute memories with Bella!
