We had a GREAT weekend! We got to go away to a cabin (called the Bella Chalet) up in Gold Country for the weekend. Our friend, Stefanie invited Alyson's family and our family to go up there with her family for the weekend. Since it was President's Day, we took Friday off and made a 4 day weekend out of it.
We got up there Friday afternoon to a LOT of snow! We were warned by the owner's of the cabin that there was about 10" of snow, um, it had snowed that much the night before. It was more like 3' of snow!Stefanie and I trudged our way through the snow with the kids and started making dinner while Wesley and Frank cleared the driveway.
Alyson and her family got up there just as we were sitting down to eat dinner. Saturday morning, they got up and went skiing, while Stefanie, Frank and I stayed at the cabin with Alyson's little boy Grant and our kids.
Stefanie took the kids out to build a snowman. Stefanie and Grant had fun, Mallory did not!! It was a great day of just relaxing and hanging out.
Sunday we went sledding and even Bella enjoyed it. She loved to watch the people go sledding by her. She thought that was very funny!It was a great weekend full of lots of laughter, friends and just what we needed!

How fun! Loved looking at the pictures of that much snow...I am seriously hoping to find lots of that in Utah when I head home in a few weeks...it has literally been over 2 years since I have seen any in person!
What a fun little vacation! Looks like everyone had fun playing in the snow. Your little girl is the most adorable babe ever! I love all the fun pictures you take of her. She is beautiful like her mom!
How fun!! I am so jealous. My boys want to go sledding sooo bad. Bella is looking adorable...as always.
