Winter Wonderland

We had a GREAT weekend! We got to go away to a cabin (called the Bella Chalet) up in Gold Country for the weekend. Our friend, Stefanie invited Alyson's family and our family to go up there with her family for the weekend. Since it was President's Day, we took Friday off and made a 4 day weekend out of it.

We got up there Friday afternoon to a LOT of snow! We were warned by the owner's of the cabin that there was about 10" of snow, um, it had snowed that much the night before. It was more like 3' of snow!Stefanie and I trudged our way through the snow with the kids and started making dinner while Wesley and Frank cleared the driveway.
Alyson and her family got up there just as we were sitting down to eat dinner. Saturday morning, they got up and went skiing, while Stefanie, Frank and I stayed at the cabin with Alyson's little boy Grant and our kids. Stefanie took the kids out to build a snowman. Stefanie and Grant had fun, Mallory did not!! It was a great day of just relaxing and hanging out.Sunday we went sledding and even Bella enjoyed it. She loved to watch the people go sledding by her. She thought that was very funny!


It was a great weekend full of lots of laughter, friends and just what we needed!

Ahhhh. . .

I've had two days of just relaxing and working a little bit. Got my office organized and my house cleaned. I even got to take a nap today!!

Let's see if I can catch everyone up. The last 3 months have been extremely busy. With Frank doing sales, my business has grown by leaps and bounds. We added payroll services and are actively pursuing that avenue of business. I've spent the last 3 days completely revamping my business. I'm VERY excited about it!

Isabella is getting SO big. She has 2 teeth on the bottom, and 4 coming in on top. She hasn't been two cranky with the teething. All four of the top ones are coming in at once. Poor thing! She's crawling ALL over the place and cruising along the furniture. Today she stood by herself for the first time for about 5 seconds.

She's a good baby. She laughs all the time and is definitely a daddy's girl. She's getting better at napping. She sleeps for about an hour at a time now, that I can handle. Last night she slept for 11 hours without needing to eat! We are making serious progress!

Happy Birthday Frank!

Things have been absolutely insane around here. I will try to catch everyone up by the end of the weekend.

Today is Frank's birthday. I have to tell publicly tell him how much I love him and appreciate him. He is so supportive of me and everything that I do. The last month I have been busy working and haven't done much in the way of household things. He has just stepped in and helped with taking care of Bella and taking care of the house AND still working. He works just as hard as I do during the day, but somehow he never gets tired and still has energy to cook and clean.

Frank is an amazing father. I knew he would be a great father, but he is 10 times better than I thought he would be. Of course, Isabella has him right where she wants him. She's starting to figure out if she cry when he leaves the room, he'll come back. She is definitely spoiled by her daddy!
