We started potty training today. I dont know who's getting trained- me or Bella. She had a bad morning but has done pretty well the rest of the day. I'm not exactly sure what we are going to do at church tomorrow. I guess I should have started on Friday so I had 2 days before we had to go anywhere. Oh well! I guess I will spend most of church in the bathroom. It is family day tomorrow and we were supposed to go to the museum in San Francisco - I guess that won't be happening either. :( I think diapers are easier!

Potty Training is like a rite of passage for mothers.
Patience is a virtue. Good Luck! ;)
Whenever we had to go anywhere (when Mallory was first potty training) I would put a pull up over her underwear. That way, she could still feel if it was wet, and I wouldn't have to clean up a huge mess. You still have to bring clothes, underwear and extra pull ups around.
Diapers ARE easier - right now, but you'll LOVE it when she's potty trained. =o) It's worth the time and energy, frustration, and MESS. Keep it up!
Hooray...and I'm so sorry!!! I H.A.T.E. potty training, but your friend is right, life is so much better once they are trained. I'm not looking forward to starting with Gunner, but he is definitely getting close to being ready (blehhh!). Keep up the good work and at least know all the mothers out there (and fathers) who helped potty-train their own children are rooting for you! :)
Good Luck! I decided after trying to force Reagan that I would let the next child train themselves and it worked. Gav got interested and it kindof happened like that. Payton is now wanting to poop in the potty all day long. I have not pushed him at all, I have been to tired to care to potty train right now. Hopefully he will continue to "train himself" so I will have the new baby in diapers and no one else. Wouldn't that be a miracle;)
Ooo, it IS a massive pain in the butt. Seriously, so not fun. However, you'll love the freedom it brings once they're fully trained. I've never had a toddler trained without another baby already born, so I'm totally jealous of you!
Diapers are WAY easier and I always dread potty training. Even now, I can't go anywhere without my 6 and 4 yr old deciding they need to use the bathroom immediately (and it is usally in some disgusting public place like Walmart.)
Good luck--this too shall pass!
